When you own a vacation timeshare week at Barrier Island Station Resort in Kitty Hawk, you not only get a top-notch condominium but you also own two units in one! Each unit occupies an entire floor of a building and consists of two separate, fully equipped condos, connected by both an interior door and individual outside entrances. The flexibility is incredible!  Owners often use one side for vacation, and trade or rent the other.  Some owners even trade both sides for two weeks at other resorts!  But if space is what you need, use both units with the added benefit of two kitchens and two living-rooms. Close the connecting door and enjoy a little privacy away from the crowd! 

Condo 903AB is located on the first floor unit.  Unit A has a full kitchen, screened porch,  two bathrooms with a jacuzzi in the master,  with a king bed and a sleep sofa.  This unit is 959 square feet.  Unit B has a mini kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a balcony with table and chairs, one bathroom, and a queen bed and sleep sofa.  The B side is 818 square feet.  Each unit will accommodate up to four occupants and there is a shared washer and dryer in the foyer.

        

The resort offers a large array of amenities including the Barrier Island Fun & Fitness Center. The Fitness Center is the largest, most complete workout facility on the Outer Banks. The state of the art equipment includes thirteen circuit training machines, four treadmills, two stair steppers, two Schwinn air dynes, two recumbent cycles, and a complete line of free weight equipment. Aerobics programs for beginning through advanced participants are taught by certified aerobics instructors.

            
Aquafit classes are also offered in the heated indoor pool and conducted by certified instructors.  A spacious whirlpool, separate steam rooms and dry saunas for men and women, and a massage therapist are available as well.  Two certified personal trainers are also on staff to assist in tailoring workout programs for individuals' specific needs and goals.

         

For those wanting to spend their time out of doors, playing hard will be made easy on one of the resort's tennis, basketball, bocce ball, volleyball, and badminton courts. Other outdoor activities include hiking trails and an Outdoor "L" shaped Olympic-sized swimming pool designed for laps or recreational swimming.

 The recreational area also includes a large gazebo with restrooms, showers, changing facilities and a snack bar for convenience. Owners boast at the close proximity of the amenities. There is a full-time recreational director on site year round that offers planned activities for adults and children.

The resort is located approximately one mile from the beautiful Kitty Hawk beach, with private parking at the beach access for Barrier Island Station owners and guests.
