This ownership has been converted to 95,000 Annual RCI Points.  You can either use your RCI Points for flexibility or utilize the underlying week #27.  The maintenance fee was $605 for 2010 and has been paid.   Utilizing points gives one the opportunity to enjoy more than one week of vacation per year.  You can utilize your points on last minute vacations (within 45 days of check-in).  These vacations only require 7500 to 9000 points.  Or you can utilize your points for trips less than a week.  If you don't require a 2 bedroom unit, you can utilize fewer points for smaller units. Another option is utilizing your points during a lower season, which requires less points.  You can reserve your week #27, or any week at your home resort or at your home resort group (Barrier Island Station Kitty Hawk and Barrier Island Station Ocean Pines). Points can be rolled over to the next year or borrowed from the next year.  It is a very flexible program.  In addition, points can be utilized toward discounted airfares, car rentals, hotel stays, Disney tickets, etc.

Unit 2702 is located on the top (2nd) floor. It is 1,820 sf with four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths.  There is a full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, fireplace and washer/dryer. Each bedroom has a television, as well as the living area.  This unit will accommodate up to ten. 

        

The resort offers a large array of amenities including the Barrier Island Fun & Fitness Center. The Fitness Center is the largest, most complete workout facility on the Outer Banks. The state of the art equipment includes thirteen circuit training machines, four treadmills, two stair steppers, two Schwinn air dynes, two recumbent cycles, and a complete line of free weight equipment. Aerobics programs for beginning through advanced participants are taught by certified aerobics instructors.

            
Aquafit classes are also offered in the heated indoor pool and conducted by certified instructors.  A spacious whirlpool, separate steam rooms and dry saunas for men and women, and a massage therapist are available as well.  Two certified personal trainers are also on staff to assist in tailoring workout programs for individuals' specific needs and goals.

         

For those wanting to spend their time out of doors, playing hard will be made easy on one of the resort's tennis, basketball, bocce ball, volleyball, and badminton courts. Other outdoor activities include hiking trails and an Outdoor "L" shaped Olympic-sized swimming pool designed for laps or recreational swimming.

 The recreational area also includes a large gazebo with restrooms, showers, changing facilities and a snack bar for convenience. Owners boast at the close proximity of the amenities. There is a full-time recreational director on site year round that offers planned activities for adults and children.

The resort is located approximately one mile from the beautiful Kitty Hawk beach, with private parking at the beach access for Barrier Island Station owners and guests.
